The Happy Home Studio is a multicultural and multigenerational creativity center, where children and adults develop their talents and their ability to create together, built upon human values in unity with nature.
This model is flexible and can be realized as an additional activity in libraries, community and children’s centers, health and educational institutions, and as well as a systemic model of local community and business initiatives.

Purpose of the Project
Develop the Creativity Studio’s model in rural and urban communities to support personal, family, and community development.

  • The Happy Home Studio model can be as a “Third place” after Home and Work for the oldest to youngest to be together as a community. This model’s activities are integrated and realized together with national cultural traditional and business local initiatives.
  • The idea of the Happy Home Studio is to create a place outside of the home, where children and adults feel good, based on equality and creativity collaborations.
  • The project result supports Sustainable Development in the spheres:
    – Economic
    – Social
    – Environmental
    by:
    – supporting harmonious personality, family, and community development
    – improving life resources and public health
    – save nature by developing an ecology culture and social responsibility
    – providing progressive technology for education and development

Project steps:
– develop a Creativity Studio model
– synthesize the result
– support other communities by sharing experience and technology.

Studio activities are based on the Conscious Creativity concept, the programs “World in Me” and “Supporting stress resistance and immunity through the conscious development of the sensory system and feelings” and supported by projects: “Conscious Creativity for Sustainable Development” and “Mom Fairy Tale”.

The Creativity Studio model includes a nature-based light prismatic color design, structure and form of activities, and creativity tools based on collaborations with communities, ecology centers, kindergartens, daycares, and high schools in villages and cities.
This project is also based on over 20 years of interactions with children and adults and our life experiences as parents and grandparents. At the same time, the main task of this project is to unite personal and community resources.

  • The Happy Home Studio integrates with local Initiatives to support community resources and realize teamwork with professionals: architects, builders, designers, and community members.

About “Happy Home Studio”

The zonation of the Studio is flexible and can be changed for activities, but generally includes 4 areas:
– Multilanguage Fairy Tale Library, exploring, and “Thought Tree”.
– Creativity Gallery “Planet Big Heart”
– Interactive Creativity Area “Wizard’s Workshops”
– Sensory Playground (indoor/outdoor), and Happy Home Theater.

Each area can be changed in size based on the types of activity and the number of participants.

The Happy Home Studio includes free and ticketed activities for children and adults to visit the Studio at any time. Ticketed activities support the Studio’s financial stability.

Studio’s free activities

  • Creativity exhibitions “Happy Home Talents” – based on the Studio’s Creativity Gallery.
    Each community has many talented family-friendly artists.
  • Book reading “Under Dream Tree” – based on the Studio Library.
    Children and adults read their lovely stories and add a “leaf” to the Dream Tree with many cozy floor pillows and grass carpets.
  • Ethnic creativity events “Beauty from the Hand” – based on the Interactive Area.
    Workshops where people share their own creative experiences related to the culture of handmade traditions.
  • Sensory panel activity “Create your Journey” – based on the Sensory Playfield.
    This is a wall carpet with many details related to nature, and creativity based on fairy tale quests. The handmade sensory panel supports the sensory system development of sight-touch-smell-taste-hearing, the active position to learn new, and positive feeling. This panel is a foundation for multi-age children’s groups together with adults.
  • Music event “Harmony of Sounds” – based on the Studio Creativity Gallery.
    Inviting musicians and singers to the Happy Home Studio for small concerts.
  • Puppet show “Fairy Tale Theater” – based on the Studio Creativity Gallery.
    Children and adults will create and perform their puppet shows with the Studio’s puppets based on fairy tales and fables.
  • “Wizard’s Workshop” – based on Interactive Creativity Area.
    Children and adults have the freedom to choose from 7 directions of creativity: handmade books & storytelling; handmade toys; greeting cards; nature crafts and sculpture; painting with multilayer technique; paper crafts; and home design.

Happy Home Studio’s activities support 7 “be” rules

– be respectful: respect your uniqueness and the uniqueness of everyone else.
– be grateful: to everyone and everything that supports your creative journey.
– be quiet: loudness is not necessary to be noticed.
– be attentive: if you want to create something new, you need to learn something new
– be patient: big grows from small seeds, and needs time to grow.
– be a lover of work:  to grow, flowers need soil, water, sun, and the happy feeling of your support.
– be a team builder: with Studio participants: together many bees create honey 🙂

It is a cozy place for children and adults. The Studio can accommodate children 1+ because we understand that families are often made up of multi-aged kids who all need to feel comfortable and safe.
