- About a train idea
Sometimes I receive letters from the LinkedIn Collaborative Articles team. They ask me, as many LinkedIn participants, to respond to some questions.
As always Mr. Brain has his own long “to-do list” which means “run with time faster”.
However, I remembered Albert Einstein Relativity’s train and passenger example and decided not to run and just to sit on the train, look out the window, and make some notices related to the book “Conscious Creativity for Sustainable Development” and with my questions of course 🙂 - About the questions
I like questions that activate thinking, especially as a coach who creates questions supporting people. And I also create questions for myself to make effective decisions.
So, I kept my short notice based on a case study with my questions of course 🙂 Hope, some of them will be useful for your activity.
Please, see more “About” below. - About many multiple projects and impatient stakeholders
It makes sense to remember The Eisenhower Matrix. It helps prioritize your to-do list and to set a new time frame with the “I’m so sorry” time case.
Ask the stakeholders questions that help you do the Matrix.
Be open in this conversation because all that we do we are doing with people and for people.
A proactive position creates a foundation that supports good partnerships.
For example, questions might be:
1. What is the biggest value of the time frame for your project?
2. What can I do best for you now that my time frame is different?
3. What can we create first and then others a little later?
When we invite to the conversation our stakeholders we see a better path , and learn how to go along this path together. - About limited resources for data analytics
It makes sense to clarify with 7 step by step questions:
1. What are my expectations?
2. Why are these expectations important for me?
and How will I feel when I achieve these expectations?
Then:
3. What are the best resources I now have to achieve this result?
4. What are the best skills I have to achieve these expectations based on my resources?
Then:
5. What resources do I need to add to what I now have?
6. How can I improve my skills to use my resources more effectively?
7. Who are the best team members?
These questions support the effectiveness of thinking and help to find responses by ourselves because the best team starts with you 🙂 - About balancing roles of administrative duties while leading instruction
It is not about roles. It is about balance. As everything in life is an evolutionary process, we people are also in this process.
So, below are two thoughts:
1 – Administrative duties while leading instruction is your Wings. Can a bird fly up with one wing?
2 – We grow within and always by ourselves. Can a tree grow while looking at the forest?
However, we need to take responsibility: the main manager and the main person who can do this first is you. Why? Because we can share what we have and our deeds speak louder than our words 🙂 - About Network platform
People go to people. From my experience, connecting with people through meetings within internships, conferences, seminars, and workshops begins good collaborations.
I think that the professional network platforms give an amazing ability to develop effective networking from a proactive position. However, for that, you need to know what and why you want to develop and be able to understand what and why other people want to develop. - About the clash of the team’s project goals and client feedback
First, it is valuable to unite the project team and the client through synergy. Synergy is based on a magnet.
So, it makes sense to clarify the:
1 – WHY “Why do I need to do that?” It is about motivation from the inside.
And then:
2 – WHAT “What do I want to see as a result?”, “What resources do I have for that?” and “What do I need to add?”
3 – HOW “How can I improve what I have?”
4 – WHO “Who will be the key person and why?”
The first person who can respond is the same person who asks is you and then the project team. Because we can share what we have.
When we find the answers to the questions for ourselves we can see the potential of synergy with our clients. “Why” is the magnet.
P.S.
The question “Why” is the 4th leg of the chair 🙂 - About supporting diverse learners with digital resources
The best student is a student who has questions and can find the answers.
A diverse learner’s activity is based on the following:
– advisability
– resilience
– flexibility
– improvement
Why? Diversity is the result of the evolutionary process.
Sustainable Development is a result and process based on the Culture of Thinking.
The system of digital resources can be assessed based on this position.
So, I think the best foundation to support diverse learners is to assess digital resources on its ability to respond to a learner’s questions to develop the Culture of Thinking for Sustainable Development. - And more About . . . .
It is an amazing sunny day today! Even though the wind is cold, the sky is blue, and the trees’ golden leaves are proudly shining.
He was sitting on the bench alone. He is not “Ok”. . . The warm clothes on him are from everywhere. We bought milk and bread and gave them to him. Surprise, a happy child smile, and “Thank you!” quietly.
As a coach, I create questions that help people develop their own life. As a writer, I create stories that I see in life. As an artist, I paint colors-inspired by beauty.
I don’t know what the question can be, the story and color that will help us humans be happier and to understand that we all live together.
I will remember his happy smile. . . . I am thinking about his quiet “Thank you!” in my heart. . . . I will find the question, story, and color. . . .
With love, Olga
