For this practice you will need colored A4 paper, colored pencils, paints, scissors, glue. Anyone from 3+ can participate. Older participants can support younger ones in workshop activities and create together as a Team! 😊 Like all previous practices, the best place will be closer to Nature or indoors with the sounds of Nature supporting an atmosphere of creativity. Welcome to the practice!
Olga and Conscious Creativity Team 😊
Practice “Magic Box”
Task of the practice: each participant creates their own Magic Box from colorful paper sheets, decorate them and then create Gratitude cards-hearts with the words “Thank You!” and put them into the box. If some participants don’t have skills to write, they can draw smiling faces or smiling hearts on their cards as a picture. Then they put the Gratitude cards-hearts into the box to share with others when they want to say, “Thank you!” You can find details on how to create a Magic Box and cards in the resources.*
And as in all practices, there are important conditions:
- no competition: “who is faster or who creates a better box”
- no hints or instructions like: “look to the right, then to the left”
- all sources of color are based on the colors of Nature.
- also, colored pencils or paints are better than markers because they can create different colorful shades.
The time for this practice is 45 minutes. However, it can be longer, depending on the venue, age, and number of participants. And. . . . the Magic box can become a central element of design and not only: it is a wonderful helper to you and your community collaboration! Why? Let’s explain a bit more. . . 😊
Best feeling and result
Everything we do is the result of our feelings. Like the roots of a tree: even if we do not see them, this does not mean that the tree does not have them. They are the basis of the tree’s branches, developing proportionally to the strength of the root system, bringing their results – leaves, flowers, fruits. Feeling-Thinking-Action-Result. The best feeling brings the best result.
“But everyone has their own understanding of the word “best”, – you may say. Yes, so it makes sense to clarify what “best” means. The best is its quality. Quality is the result of the process of developing a system in unity with its properties: advisability, sustainability, improvement, and flexibility. The properties of the system are manifested in the principles of its life: maintaining balance, managing its energy, cooperation, and improvement of what it has.
We talked about the properties and principles of a system’s life activity in previous newsletters. They help the butterfly easily soar in the air, flying huge distances, and are also the basis for the development of the Garden as a system.
Before the next step
“Okay, Garden is important, but where can I find the technology of Garden care?” you may ask. 😊 Before we move on to technology, let’s remember some topics that were discussed in previous newsletters.
– Nature, as manifested Life, is based on Harmony, where Harmony unites Beauty, Uniqueness, Proportionality, and Collaboration. This unity is the process of Life as an endless and boundless process of cognition and creation of the World as One Space, based on Improvement. We are participants in this process.
– The ability to accept information from the world around us develops our consciousness and neural connections determining our responses. In essence, this is immunity, which is the basis of mental and physical health. Consciousness is an important participant in this process. The answer to the Why-What-Who-How questions determine the direction of our development, answering the question Where.
– Each system is unique and at the same time is in unity with other systems, being a part of the general process of Life. Caring for our own Garden, we participate in the process of Evolution or vice versa.
– Conscious Creativity is the process of developing and improving human activity based on the Culture of Thinking in Unity with Nature. The three pillars of Sustainable Development: Society, Economy, and Environment are integrated with the fourth, the Culture of Thinking.
– We are people, and we create. Systemic Thinking helps us to create better 😊 “Why?”- Advisability – Beauty of Feelings | “What?” – Sustainability – Thoughts |”Who?” – Improvement – Activity | “How?” – Flexibility – Garden Maintenance – Result
– Quality of Thinking determines the quality of the Garden. The words: “If you want to change the world, change yourself.” have a deep philosophical meaning and are based on physical processes. Free energy is a measure of the orderliness of a system and is the energy that remains after we have directed part of it to tidy up our Garden. When we tidy it up regularly, we have the force to develop.
– Systemic Thinking is the ability to accommodate the awareness of the value of our Garden-system, and responsibility for it, with the awareness of the unity and collaboration with the world as an infinite unity of other systems.
– Life is based on unity, and the system as a structural unit of the Life process reflects this unity in its properties: advisability, sustainability, improvement, and flexibility. The unity of a system’s properties is reflected in the principles of its vitality: maintaining balance, managing its energy, cooperation, and improving what it has.
– Our ability to synthesize is based on our ability to unite diversity in our life and determines our quality of thinking. The quality of thinking determines the result. Each process is the changes of a system in a period where its development is a movement based on the force of attraction. Attraction is the basis of aspiration. Force is determined by aspiration. Everything that is in our Garden has its own attractive force, being part of our Garden as a system of the inner world that each of us has.
Technology and skills of Garden care
Like we discussed above, the Consciousness of each of us grows like a tree. The Garden is our inner world where this tree grows. What we have in Life is the result of how this Consciousness-tree grows and what state our Garden is in. The Culture of Thinking is the process and the result of how we look after our Garden, and what grows in it. The technology of Garden care is Conscious Creativity, which has 5 key foundations.
Five key foundations of Conscious Creativity
- Heart – the ability to choose and develop the best feelings
- Beauty – the ability to see Beauty in unity with Nature
- Work – the ability to organize one’s own activity with collaboration
- Evolution – the ability to improve based on Evolutionary law
- Aspiration – the ability to see the direction of development
The Principles of Conscious Creativity support caring for our Garden:
- Freedom of Choice through Responsibility
- Independence through Unity
- Tolerance through Respect
- Activity through Improvement
Key questions of Systemic Thinking help us to use this technology, supported by a set of Garden tools.
- “Why?” – Advisability – Why do I need it?
- “What?” – Sustainability – What, of what I have now, will help me improve what I have now?
- “Who?” – Improvement – Who is the participant in this process and takes responsibility for the choice and decision?
- “How?” – Flexibility – How can I use the resources and skills that I have, and how can I improve them?
The practices of the previous letters and comments to them are essentially about this. They are simple, even with long comments. 😊 However, together with dandelions in the meadow and a butterfly, the formulas of Newton and Descartes, the Mendeleev periodic table, and the works of Gibbs and Maxwell, you and I have comprehended the essence of what continues to develop in a moment you are reading these lines: We are people, and we create.
This is an amazing process, cognizing that which we comprehend ourselves. It contains many secrets and discoveries that each of us finds in our own lives. This is the Culture of Thinking as a process and a result of developing Consciousness as Conscious Creativity by Systemic Thinking skills.
We can call it technology, tools, other, but in fact, their essence is simple – develop what is best in us and share it with each other in unity with the evolutionary laws of Life. This is what the great thinkers of different centuries and countries reflected, uniting us and uniting natural sciences and humanitarian ways of cognizing the world where we live, and which is in each of us.
The value of the practice “Magic box”
Garden care support 😊 based on: – best feeling – beauty – collaboration – improving what we have – vision where we are going based on why-what-who-and how.

And one P.S. more 😊 “This is for you!” said the 4-year-old boy, running up to the amazed first grandmother and then handing the same gift to the second grandmother. Then he looked into the box and took out another gift, a paper heart with a smile, handed it to me, and added “Thank you!”
How a small piece of paper can contain so many feelings . . . just because we have discovered them in ourselves. . .
The grandmothers forgot that their grandson could not concentrate on anything for more than 15 minutes because they, together with him, forgot about time. They were in that very world of the Beauty of the Heart, which knows no boundaries and time by uniting them in one direction, the very one that each of us knows in our hearts “We are people, and we create.” And . . . we always can add more “Thank you!” heart-cards into our Magic Box . . .
