And . . .
I want to share with you my idea . . . This project is named: “Where do Fairy Tales live?”
- What does that mean?
It means supporting families to create a wonderful foundation from fairy tales for children’s happiness and a future based on the best human qualities and family values reflecting beauty, wisdom and “Unity of Life” on our Earth.
The project involves
- exhibiting of drawings and fairy tales created by participants
- conducting master classes for children and parents with participating writers and artists
- conducting a Storytellers Festival “Where do Fairy Tales live?”
Festival participants can be families and children’s writers and artists.
The theme for publication – fairy tales should contribute to the development of higher human values, family values, respect for nature and peace on our Earth. The venue for exhibitions will be environmental centers, children’s centers, and art galleries.
Fairy tales support children and parents to develop:
- the best human values and finest feelings and emotions like joy, love, gratitude, and inspiration
- personal talents and unique abilities from artistic and literary creativity
- beautiful family’s relationships and working together as a team
- creating the best in life, believing your dreams and yourself and supporting a positive attitude
- communication skills with our world and the ability to listen and understand one another from the heart
- to see the beauty and wisdom our life
The outcome of this project will be an excellent platform for parents and children, giving tools and supporting harmonious development. A fairy tale is a wonderful tool because fairy tales open the door to a bright and amazing world in which there are no limits, they teach us how to create the best in life and they help us to see the beauty of the home where we live. This is our Earth . . .
“Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale.” ― H. C. Andersen
“If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.” ― A. Einstein
“Some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.” ― C.S. Lewis
“Where do fairy tales live?” I have heard many answers from children that have amazed me for the depth of understanding. Their responses continue to teach me the value of childhood . . . “Fairy tales live near us, we just need to listen carefully to hear them. I hear them, and they are very beautiful!” This answer from a 4-year-old boy. “Where do you listen to them?” I asked him. He answered by placing his hand on the heart. “It is here!”
Those wonderful words continue to inspire me to create fairy tales for families and to communicate the role of fairy tales in our life.
Families can create the best foundation for their children’s happiness and future. I will be happy if the idea – project “Where do fairy tales live?” resonates in your heart. Together we can create this wonderful reality.
With love Olga Verasen
